Chelsea O'Brian is an artist, creator, and innovator. She has worked in the mediums of circus, dance, harness dancing, film, and theatre. She invented the Aerial Kite, a unique circus apparatus, and has developed its original technique.

Chelsea toured her Aerial kite solo with the company Cirque Plume in France as an original cast member of the show L'Atelier du peintre, participating in the show's creation and performing from 2008-2010. She has also performed with companies such as: Cavalia, Sens Productions, and Rea’son d’etre productions.

She has initiated numerous collaborations with cinematographers, composers, photographers and circus performers. Such collaborations include: Pordis (Icelandic film), Taryn Derlin (Bristol film), Sunlight Zone (Aerial dance performance).

Chelsea founded her first non-profit organization in 2007: Tipping Point Productions. In 2009 she co-produced and directed the show: ‘Chuckles’ which toured to hospitals and retirement homes in Vancouver’s lower mainland.

Chelsea's works have been supported by the Canada Council, the Ontario Arts Council, Conseil des Arts et lettres de Quebec, and Adesam.

Today Chelsea works under her own production company: ChelseaO Productions, and continues to bring together enthusiastic teams to explore uncharted ground.
